san francisco electronic/techno pioneer kit clayton as the first in a series of new electronica releases under the banner microsolutions for mega problems. kit clayton has been releasing music on labels such as mille plateaux, seventh city, plug research for the last few years as well as his own orthlorng musork label. he is the producer of the current left-field hip-hop faves gold chains which is also released on his label in the us. kit clayton is at the front of a movement of lap-top electronic artists such as herbert, bola, sutekh, pole etc. these two tracks are firmly in the electronic dance field and have been specially recorded for soul jazz records.

dj diamond is 24 year old karlis griffin from the west side of chicago. he has been producing music since the age of 13 and djing since 20, heading the flight muzik clique of footwork producers.
you might recall his two tracks from our >bangs & works vol.1< footwork compilation of last year. in addition he has also released several mix cds in chicago, but this, his first international album showcases his unique style of footwork music.

tartelet laber manager emil margetli and copenhagen dj stalwart mathias mesteno make up this newly formed duo. the two of them have been djing together for years and share a mutual interest in vintage electronic music.
